Placing it
Use the T15 on the ground and the placing screen opens:
| Option | Choices |
|---|---|
| Paint | white, silver, deep red, forest green and beige two-tone, navy, tan, light blue, dark grey |
| Wear | new, used, worn: rust and dirt on the body |
| Fuel | 0 to 60 L |
| Key | in the ignition, behind the driver's sun visor, in the glovebox, random in the cab |
Drag the preview to turn it. Click Place and the truck appears where you are looking.
The key
- Every vehicle has a key of its own that starts only that vehicle. With the key in your inventory, the ignition uses it by itself.
- The key may be in the ignition, behind a sun visor (press Use on the visor to fold it down), in the glovebox, in the ashtray or on a seat; "Random, in the cab" when placing puts it in one of these at random. Once a compartment is open, press Use on the key to take it.
- Press Use on the ignition to put the key in or pull it out. Getting out with the engine off, the key is pulled and taken along; getting out with the engine running, it stays in the truck.
- Without the key the engine will not start.
Doors, hood and tailgate
Press Use on them to open and shut them: the doors, the hood (the engine is under it), the tailgate, the fuel door. The key hints show what you can do.
Parking and logging out
- A vehicle stays where you leave it, also after you quit or its chunk unloads.
- In multiplayer, a player who logs out while in a vehicle gets out first; the vehicle stays where it is. A driver switches the engine off and takes the key.
Deleting it
In Creative, hit the vehicle by hand while sneaking to delete it. Only a hit from the player's own hand counts, not an arrow they shot.
